This privacy policy applies to the Muzo app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Yuval Shavit (hereby referred to as "Service Provider"). The Application is free to download and use, and offers optional one-time in-app purchases that unlock additional lesson content. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include information such as:
The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.
The Application does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to process your personal information, to profile you, or to make decisions about you.
AI tools are used by the Service Provider on the musical content itself — for example to analyse a song and detect its structure, beats and timing, so that lessons and practice exercises can be aligned to the music. That analysis is performed on the songs, not on you, and its results form part of the Application's content rather than being derived from any information about you.
The Service Provider may use the information you provided to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.
For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to Email, Username / Display name, a user ID that identifies your account, Profile photo, Video/Camera recordings, Purchase and access status, Messages (Direct/Anonymous), App Usage / Analytics. The information that the Service Provider request will be retained by them and used as described in this privacy policy.
The Service Provider transmits information to the external services listed below so that they can operate, secure, measure and improve the Application. Not all of this information is aggregated or anonymized: install attribution, crash diagnostics and purchase validation each involve device-level or account-level identifiers. Each provider listed below processes that information on the Service Provider's behalf and under its own privacy policy. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

The Service Provider advertises the Application on Meta's platforms (Facebook and Instagram). To measure that advertising and to show ads to people who are likely to be interested in the Application, AppsFlyer passes information to Meta about installs and about steps taken in the Application: creating an account, finishing a first lesson or unit, and in-app purchases with their amount. Meta uses this information under its own privacy policy.
On Android you can stop your device being used this way at any time by deleting or resetting your advertising ID in your device settings (usually Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
The Application offers optional in-app purchases that unlock additional lesson content: one-time purchases of individual units, and an optional auto-renewing subscription. All payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), depending on where you installed the Application. The Service Provider never sees or stores your payment card details.
To confirm that a purchase is valid and to restore it on a new device, the Service Provider uses RevenueCat. The information involved is an identifier for your account in the Application, the transaction receipt issued by Apple or Google, the product purchased, and basic device information. Where you are signed in to an account in the Application, this purchase record is linked to that account so that your purchase is available to you on any device you sign in to.
Purchase records are retained for as long as your purchase remains valid and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that the Service Provider can honour restore requests and answer support questions about a payment.
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
Uninstalling the Application does not cancel or refund an in-app purchase you have already made. A purchase remains associated with your Apple or Google account and can be restored from within the Application.
The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you'd like them to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact them at muzoappp@gmail.com and they will respond in a reasonable time.
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (muzoappp@gmail.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
